Campfire songs for an acoustic?

A place to post guitar tabs separately from other discussion so it doesn’t get lost in the messages. To make it easy to search we suggest starting a new thread for each song posted and include the song name in your title. We’ll be able to make a nice archive if we keep tab here and discussion on the other forums.

Or... theres "I met a girl on myspace"

I don't know what chippy tea is either. I've got a good friend here in London who's from Wigan. I enjoy telling Londoners that he's from Yorkshire. They always believe me. It drives him round the bend. :D :D

Oooo harsh! And I bet you don't get butter pies...
Chippy tea = Friday tea time(Traditionally) consisting of fish, chips, mushy peas, gravy, curry sauce...

Butter pies ... hmmm ... that mad thing my Wigan friend does when he crams a meat pie into a roll, and then the whole lot in his mouth? (Just guessing!)

I never did get the gravy (or curry sauce) thing with chips, and mushy peas is something southern children look forward to leaving behind them forever when they stop having to eat school dinners (along with fake mash potato in the shape of an ice-cream scoop). Yeuch!

Or maybe I'm showing my age :)

Nah, butter pies are a potato pie with a bit of butter in.

That's the north south divide: "Moisture! In food?! It's just wrong!!" compared to "Ay up luv, any chance o some gravvy on them, cheers luv."
Hehe I converted one of my Uni mates(from kent) over to gravy with chips!
I remember the Smash stuff!

Anything by the Eagles or the Beatles always goes over well at our campfires.
Don't forget about the classic folk tunes by Peter Paul and Mary, or Dylan.
