Welcome aboard Joel. Glad to have you. I think you'll enjoy it around here whether you play or not. Just grab a pair of hip-boots and have fun!

Welcome to the BigRoad, Joel. Enjoy the site.

Bosco

PS- BW is our point man on the Bullsh*t Patrol Squad, he keeps the rest of historically accurate blueswise and therefore is chief rubber boot advocate as well. (At least I HOPE that is the reason.) :D

You don't play!? Then the main difference between you and me is you don't own an instrument.

Maybe that makes you more honest.

Well, I know I'm never going to be as good as LOTS of others. The only person who has to enjoy my playing is me.

WELCOME Joel

I'm new here also, but I feel at home here amongst fellow blues musicians and the like. There are some good people here and some good information as well. Enjoy your stay.

"There are some good people here and some good information as well"

And then there is the rest of us and the stuff we have to say. But, we all have fun.

Hey Jomina, come on in! How fat are the frogs? How hungry are the snakes? Are snakes choosy whether the frog is fat or not? Will they eat a skinny frog? Sorry, couldn't help but ask.

Swamp. Frogs. Snakes. Drinkin' muddy water, sleepin' in a hollow log. More snakes.

Sounds like a blues song in the making.
Welcome!

So you haven't picked up a guitar in ten years? Within three weeks of posting on this site you're going to be maxing out your credit card ordering that dream vintage Stella. You'll try and resist, but to no avail. This site provokes playing and there's not a damn thing you can do about it.

Welcome to the site Jomina! Jelly's right, this site is hard on your pocketbook. In the short time I've been here I'm up 2 electric guitars and one resonator, and looking at another reso. Resistance is futile!

Enjoy the site!
