I don't know what the boxers use, but I know that unless you wanna put bandaids or bandages on your fingers when you play guitar or piano--which is practically an impossible solution-- the super glue or nu-skin is the only thing I know of that'll stop the bleeding and still leave you with most of the feeling in your fingers. I think the skin just grows back underneath the adhesive. I used the stuff for most of a year a couple years back, for playin' piano. Once your fingers split, it's hard to get 'em to heal if you keep playin'.

Lenny Bruce once pointed out that stoping to install a condom would destroy the spontaneity of the moment, so one should be worn at all times, just in case.

This super glue idea might be just the ticket.

As for the guitar playing usage, I bet it would solve the problem of picks coming loose...

my rhythm player some years ago had a tooth cap split off in the middle of the first set at a gig we were playing. he called a break and headed for 7-11, bought some super glue, and stuck the cap back on. finished the gig and went to his dentist the following monday. dentist admired his work and told him he'd have done the same thing!

My dentist told me to steer clear of superglue, but my oral surgeon (the second one who's been fixing the mess the first one left) told me I could stick my cap back on with Fixodent. Works, for a while, and it's easy to get back off.

I always understood that Superglue contained cyanide or one of it's compounds. Isn't it rather dangerous to use orally :?:

Cyanoacrylate stuff. The current glue seems to be pretty safe.

It'd be a bummer to have that in your obit, that you died from your wife supergluing your willie to the bed post.

BTW, remember that silly pop song back in the '60s that we American kids had no idea was actually a lament about erectile dysfunction?

Little Willie Willie won't
Go home
Well you can't push Willie well,
Willie won't go.
Tried tellin' everybody, but, whoa no,
Little Willie Willie won't
*, *, *, ... Go home.
