Greetings from Utah

Just registered, haven't even lurked much. Just came off a five year stint with a country band (blech) and I'm putting a blues trio together. You may or may not have noticed, but blues doesn't always go over in country bars. The music scene blows chunks here in Salt Lake, so I'm sure we'll be playing more than our share of classic rock as well, but the good news is that the music scene blows about equally for all forms of music, and as long as they can dance to it, you're pretty much okay.

Been playing guitar and singing for 30+ years, and the older I get the more I find I wanna play the blues. Funny how that works.

The blues is the roots, the rest is the fruits.

I don't know if it's true, but I've heard that Mormon girls are the best groupies. :) Have fun!

Aye Maximus,
LeapFrog will help you on the path of entitlement, but Ardbeg 10 years is the mutt's nutts.

I'm an obvious infidel; what are Leapfrog and Ardveg? I know Budweiser and single malt......those of the skinny glass tower of Babble.

Sheeit. I just walked in from 3 hours at a bar talking up the benifits of Laguvullin - while drinking Beam the whole time.

What's a heretic?

Please! This is a family forum! If you want to indulge in Laguvullin, do so in the privacy of your home, with a consenting adult.
