Hey,

I'm an Auzzie guy, Play guitar.
Love playing the Blues with my mates, But only just started getting really into it, dabbling in slide at the moment.

Any Suggestions to artists i should listen to to get some tips on slide?

Welcome Koikaze. What sort of slide player you like? There's distorted,
hooligan, blues with Hounddog Taylor, softer electric (comparatively) with Elmore James. There's acoustic stuff from the likes of Blind Willie Johnson and I stand up and take my hat off when I say his name, Mr Fred Macdowell.

Modern players include Billy Gibbons, Sonny Landreth, Johnny Winter.

Ideally, if you can find a slide/bottleneck compilation from a dealer it will have a wide range of styles for you to sort through.

Be warned, you are, there is no escape. now in the Slidelight Zone

That would be an absolute godsend if you have one roll under the settee.
