John, it's always nice to meet someone else from Maryland here. Are you a member of the Baltimore Blues Society?

I live in College Park and work in Columbia. I'll have to check out your open mic some time.

I also play a lot of prewar stuff - see http://www.hokummusic.com - but that band isn't very active right now. And I really need to get another electric band together (my poor Bassman has been sitting neglected in my basement for way too long).

I'll probably go to the BBS show this Saturday. Maybe I'll see you there.

Hi John. Do you have a relative who owns (or owned) a restaurant in Crystal City, Va? If so, I met him through a mutual friend years ago.

Welcome in, John! If you get time, check out the archived threads- you may even find one nobody had the answers for, and you may be able to help us out there. Long live the Blues!

Hey John-

Welcome to the Bigroad! pull up a crate and strap one of those harps in your rack. Nice website, I particularly like the "Order A Pizza" feature, nicely done.

Join us in the Harp forum when you get caught up...
