Evenin' all

Postby mean » Mon Dec 15, 2003 5:31 pm

Hi,
I registered here a while back, but then the internet crapped out on my PC, and took ages to fix itself. I'm from Sheffield, England, I haven't been playing the guitar for very long, but I do my best to play acoustic blues. I really love the site, and I'm looking forwards to getting posting.:)

Cheers

Hey Mean!

If you like acoustic blues, and blues in general, you've definitely found the right place.

And speaking of the right place...there's a couple of guys on the forum that also hail from Sheffield. You've got a lot of Brit company here.

Welcome to the Big Road! Enjoy!

Hi, 'mean'

Welcome the THE place on the 'net for blues... And (often) related topics.

"And speaking of the right place..." Have a look at the details of our next UK get-together, just a stone's throw from sunny Sheffield: http://www.bigroadblues.com/dcforum/DCF ... 1/126.html

Youll be very welcome there!

Cheers

Stumblin and myself had the pleasure of meeting up with Mean and The Lips last Saturday- really nice guys and they play some good blues too which I hope you will all have the pleasure of hearing on their website soon.

Welcome to the board Mean, it's good to have another member of the Sheffield Blues Mafia around here!

Welcome to BRB, mean. Grab your favorite drink and read the archives; you'll get a great education, unless you're more knowledgeable than most of us. The technical helps are great, too!

Hello Mean- (how often does one get to say that?)

Welcome to the BigRoad, you're at the right place.

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys. At the moment I'm busy trawling through the archives to try and pick up some pointers etc. :) This is such a great site!

I lived in Sheffield when I was an exchange student there, from 1990-91. Welcome to our little community!
