Where are they?

Postby stumblin » Thu Mar 24, 2005 7:42 am

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Mar-24-05 AT 02:42 AM (EST)]Seems like most of my favourites aren't listed here.
Charley Patton, Robert Johnson, Honeyboy Edwards, Son House, Blind Boy Fuller, Elmore James. This list could go on almost forever.
I haven't actually tried posting a poll, so I don't know how they work, but maybe the poll-creation facility only allows a few choices?

Muddy's music is to me what blues is all about.
I'd rather listen to his recordings than anything else, regardless of who he is playing with.
JLH would be a close second.

In the listing I like T-Bone Walker best but I miss Otis Rush, Luther Allison, Peter Green and Mike Bloomfield.

voted for muddy waters, but I like them all. And even though I do like chuck berry, I consider him of more of an early rock n' roll influence.

I have many favorites but voted for Muddy because his recordings are more likely to include some killer harpwork than others on your list.

I just voted for Big Mama Thornton.

She's certainly not my favorite, (but I do like her take on Hound Dog (not you, Lovat!)) but I thought it was sad that she was the only one without a vote.
