Starting a Blues CD, my first two songs

Postby guitarjeff » Tue Apr 24, 2012 5:14 pm

Starting to work on a Blues CD, I'm just a solo guy and I am doing everything myself here in my apartment bedroom, very small. Drums are Addictive drums vst program, all keys are vst like SampleTank or NI B4 organ and I play those on my midi keyboard. I mic my Fender Mustang with a couple Dynamic mics, and do my vocals with a cheap Cad GXL-220 condenser mic. I did both these songs, written and recorded, in one day each. Actually about 6-8 hours from concept to being done recording. Hope you enjoy.

Well done Jeff!! Are you from Chicago area?? You definitely got that 'Alligator Records' type vibe happening. Good balance on mix and good tunes!
