Neil Young, Neil Young, Neil Young - nothing later than 1985.
Dozens of Blues Compilations.
John Cale - Fragments of a Rainy Season. Buffalo Ballet is just magic!
Big Mama Thornton with Mudday Waters.
BRB V2
Maxinquaye - Tricky. Gutter music with a sweet voice. Hypnotic.
Couple of Jazz compilations.
Michael Buble - love that man. Someday I'm going to be able sing nearly half as good as he can.
Clapton Unplugged.
Kathryne Williams - Relations.

Just got my Blind Blake (5CD) and Blind Willie McTell (4CD) 'boxed sets'
in the mail today, so that should keep me busy for a while. Normally I wouldn't have opted for the boxed sets-- , but it made sense economically seeing as a single CD was $18 Cdn and the boxed sets were $32 each.....
----you can't accuse me of not doing my part for the visually impaired, either! ;)

At the moment I am diggin' a Lesley Gore CD I found on the net. "It's My Party And I'll Cry If I Want To" is some of the first music I can recall linstenin' to, it came out in 1963. She has a great voice. "You Don't Own Me" is one of the best songs I've heard, she does is so well. I was seven when she hit the scene. Before that we didn't have a radio or a tv. The Lesley Gore disc is some greatest hits thing. That woman does it for me, and she's wearing clothes in the pictures. Talent sold back then, not sex.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Jun-14-05 AT 08:07 PM (EST)]Sex always sells and always has! There was simply a more rigid morality rulling society at that time. I'm sure her mini-skirt caused many heart palpitations at the time and sold many LP's.

Good thing I don't buy based on the pictures or videos otherwise I'd own lot's of music I'd never listen to.

Digging Dusty Springfield at the moment. What a voice! Just got better over the years.

"Official Bootleg/Richard Johnston"

I've got "Come on up to the House" from Tom Waits CD "Mule Variations" on repeat, Man, what a great song !

"You've been whipped by the forces that are inside of you,
Come on up to the House"
And your high on top of your mountain of woe,
Come on up to the house".

I'm honeing that down on my CBG.
Get'n ready for "Hinton/05".
