bridge angle

I recently got a johnson AXL, it has a biscut bridge. The bridge is set at an angle, higher on the 6th string, lower on the 1st. Is this correct?

Bass strings generally are set up with a higher string height. Yes, it's normal. As long as your string heights are what you like there is no issue.

I always make the strings on my resos al the same height across the bridge and this works for me playing slide.
