Been frequently, mostly acoustic and mellow players in the open mic that starts the night, but then me & Clive get up and, er, give it some. We're going tomorrow to do a couple of numbers and then watch Slide Boy Roy. Look for the yellow lefty Strat and the red leather jacket. It's a good place to meet people, make contacts. Chickenbone runs the open mic with Ken, so you can talk CBG with him. Also does regular guitar fettling.

I hope to be able to go to the gathering in October -- it should be terrific. 8)

Farmaz, get yore self down to Cotteridge tomorrow night! Mark Bennett Trio on as well as Slide Boy Roy, best cheap night's gig you're going to get for a long, long, time

Details: http://www.towerofsong.co.uk/contact.htm

Beware if coming from town, as you leave the 2nd island and go down the road, take the 2nd right turn. Parking round the back is a bit limited until the gym has emptied but you can usually find a slot. Landmarks are a big old boozer (no, Ricochet's in Tennessee) which is not the Tower of Song, and a BP garage, both on your right. Look for the magnificently tacky neon strip lighting, that's where it is.

Cotteridge railway station almost next door to Tower of Song. Timetables are a bugger, but it's doable if you don't mind that. Jam night this coming Thursday. If you get there, look for a red leather jacket and/or a yellow l/h Strat. And hooligan slide.

Hi Guys....if you are intending to come...please let me know...as it's difficult to keep tabs on the numbers otherwise. The all-day event is £25.00 including lunch and evening concert, evening concert only is £5.00. We are only a small venue, and it will be ticket holder priority..the daytime session is filling nicely, and we are expecting it to be busy on the evening.

Tickets available online...

http://crossroadsbluesclub.bigcartel.com/

....or send me a pm.

If you live anywhere nearby, you owe it to ourself to drop by..we are there every Thursday with The Crossroads Blues Club
