BB, sure looks purdy!

How do you find the angled speakers go? I'm currently running an angled 2 x 8" extension cab under my 10" combo amp. The cab started out as a suitcase style stereo pair for a National reel to reel tape deck with 6 1/2", 8 ohm 5W speakers. I upgraded to 8", 16 ohm 30W speakers and built a shelf to hold the two halves stable enough to put the amp on top. Works better than using a chair and looks kinda cool.

The speakers being angled sounds great, kinda spreads the sound a little better than the stright shooting of the traditional amps, fills the room from different sides instead of stright ahead in a tunnel fashion.

That's basically like that old Gibson GA79RV James Cotton often blew thru in the 60's. There were two versions of this amp, the one mentioned, and the GA79RVT, which also had a tremelo unit on it. When you put on the reverb, one side would have the reverb and one side would be dry, and with the tremelo, it would actually go from side to side. Those amps also resembled an old stereo speaker made in the 70's by Acoustic Research called the LST.

not to wear out an advertisement here but I just want to pass on that this amp is on the 3rd strike round on ebay, so I drasticlly reduced the price to try and move it. If it doesnt sell this round Im thinking of pulling it and trying to sell it locally. So LAST CALL !!
