Hi from a newbie!

Hi Guys,

Mike here. New member and lovin' the wealth of info and experience here. I'm in my late 50s and have always been a blues nut. Getting heavily into delta blues lately. The internet and this forum is such a great resource for all those unique voicings. I own a Johnson Delta Blues Resonator and Guild GAD30M Acoustic and Vintage Guild D40 Dread, a Johnson Archtop Jazz Box, a Schecter Diamond Series 5 string Bass, and a no name squareneck resonator. Thanks for being such a great resource!

Welcome
Always good to see another acoustic type person here.
Love those Guilds although I don'town one. Kinda fond of some of those Johnsons as I have a couple myself.

Love both my Guilds and both my Johnsons. The Dread has been with my since '70 when it was new. We been across Europe together and many many gigs. It's fairly beat up but still plays and sounds great. The GAD is an OM and I understand that the quality is pretty good but not always excellent on these but I was lucky to get a great one. Has tone like a much more expensive instrument. The Johnsons both just have great necks. For a relatively inexpensive instrument they are well built!

Thanks for the welcome!

Where are you? At the rate people sign up, one day we'll have two BRB regulars living next door to each other.

Welcome aboard, new boys get the drinks in. Mine's a large one.
