Band in a box Great software!

Postby multisounds » Sun May 31, 2009 5:57 am

Hi Folks,

From wanting to try out BIAB, I finally got it and have tested it's properties! :D Verdict: UNREAL!! Terrific wowowow factor. Folks, that software is amazing and will provide you with great backing tracks of many instruments of your choosing.

I've already laid down several tracks from blues. pop. jazz, country etc etc. And the sound it provides is decent and worthy of playing live with it. However, I think small venues might be the go as I've not used in in big places. And that's not all, there's bonus CD called "real tracks" that gives you absolutely authentic sounds of bass, guitar. brass, strings, etc etc. Don't underestimate it folks, you can vary time as well from rituendo to accelarando.

Get one if you can't get musicians. Only drawback is you have to write the chords into the program which is time consuming, but hey all blues players got time on their side so it's not a real issue. :D

cheers

It does? Are you sure you don't mean Garageband? (which is awesome)

for those of you who don't own a Mac and are curious about GarageBand and other loop-based recording software, check out Acoustica Mixcraft software.
It's simplicity is the same as GarageBand.

Hi Folks,

Indeed!. A fine software. I'm laying down backing tracks to about 15 songs at the moment with BIAB and have played along with either guitar or keyboard and to me it sounds fine. Perhaps not the ideal thing to do, but hey, if you can't get musicians who are too busy, well I'd say this will do the trick!

cheers
