That's me in the red, sound blalance out front was poor, we had no soundcheck, just went for it. 1st video is Alcemy, the community music group. 2nd is the Money Makers. I play slide both times.

2 alternative links, 1st is the Moneymakers blues band, 2nd is Alchemy 21, the community music outfit.

Had fun, drank covert whisky (none allowed in park), played music. Not a bad day, except when the hip hop pair turned up.

Good going mr england, despite the stupid large guitar strings you favour

Thems looks to be a fun days out.

Sorry to bang on (on the wrong thread), but I still think you should stop preemptively apologising for your voice and get to the singing with your playing. (At swanage, Maxx said he wished he could sing about 20 times, and I still dont know if he can.) Even if it turns out that you aren't being modest, loads of singers cant really sing. But I bet you bloody can though.

Then you could really go do some good fun days like these ones. You got any more coming up?

Just the normal round of open mics. And Swanage, where I shall feel positively cast aside because you're flapping off to bloody Spain. Take care with the Vino Paralyso

I think I can provide some evidence that Maxx can sing and does so.
He came over to my little studio a couple of weeks ago, and we laid down a couple of tracks (man)
You don't seem to allow direct MP3s on here, so I' ve parked the track on my website, and it's here:-
http://www.darowyn.co.uk/use%20my%20head.mp3
The track is called "Use My Brain" actually, but I got the filename wrong.
I'll link the other two tracks if Maxx does not object.
Cheers

I thought the topic was maxx in pubic horror shock , so I was staying well clear.

However, as I thought, Maxx complaining about nothing. Yer singing is plenty fine, so you are out of excuses. Get your playing and singing thang on!

The recordings let me get away with it, without the technological expertise of Darowyn, it amounts to "cruel and unusual punishment". But at least I get to show people how the songs work, and eventually I'll get someone with a better voice to do the job.

Darowyn and Diamond are reminded about the 22nd, there's a jam at The Public, New St., West Brom., 8:00pm. Be there or be an equilateral rectilinear rhomboidal figure  The Mighty Maxx will be Strat slinging regardless.

It all sounds good to me!

It's really weird seeing someone play left handed. It looks so... wrong. :wha: Every time I jam with new people they just look at me funny.
