I used to have a Silvertone Twin Twelve (back in the 1980s, when no one wanted them). I got it in trade for a tiny little Danelectro (tube) that I purchased for $2 because the power cord had been cut off and it was missing a fuse. I replaced the fuse and power cord and the Danelectro was great! With the exception of a Fender Tremolux that I used to have, the little Dano was the best sounding amp I've ever played.
The Twin Twelve I had was actually pretty clean-sounding: not a ton of gain on the front end. Now I'd probably really like it! I moved and left it with my brother, who (I think) still has it. He also has my Tremolux, but it died and didn't look like it could be revived: bummer, because it was such a great-sounding amp.
