Cool! Nice guitars and I love that rug! Good that you and your baby got it worked out. That is difficult sometimes, I bet. My daughter always asks me, "Mom, do you really need it?" and I say, "Yes, yes I do." I explain to her that I don't get my hair and nails done or go shopping other than thrift stores. Everyone has their priorities and as long as the bills pretty much get paid the rest goes to music. Plus, I know people who go to a bar and spend half of a used amp in a weekend. Or more. Priorities.

Yes, yes I will. Ask Mrs. 601 if she wouldn't mind, though. But seriously, I think I need to marry a musician when I do get around to that. Or at least someone who understands.

You definatly have to have some one that understands the mind of an artist, and can deal with the mood swings and the passion toward everyday things that we have!Mrs 601 really doesen't understand she just stays outta muh way when it comes ta my music,

That would work, too. I think it is very difficult to have 2 artists or musicians under one roof. You almost need some kind of healthy balance like one person who is not so weird. But who puts up with the passionate outbursts of the crazy one. I honestly would not want to be competing with someone else or arguing over music. Sometimes FRIENDSHIPS with other musicians provide the companionship and understanding that you need for your art. But in the home I would think it was more of a matter of the heart and soul. Comfort and security and safety. And someone who understands the band situation who can be like family. I would need someone who would understand when I left for a few days with the guys to go play. How many men are like that? And the time I need for practice and creating. Lots of stuff for a person to think about.

I had a good friend that I played with in a band for several years whose wife supported him completely in his music and whatever he did. She loved music but did not play and had her own interests and friends but was always a real nice person. He and I talked constantly, about music and life and had the same taste in music. His wife was the right person for him and I was his friend. If we would have been a couple it would have been a disaster. I have several male friends like that. It is fun to talk and hang out but would not work as anything else. It's not attraction, it's compatability as a couple. There is a lot to the fact that you are with who you are with. I believe.

That is so awesome! God bless both of you and don't forget to tell her. Men don't always let their partners know how much they appreciate them. It goes a long way. You probably do that.
