EQ Pedal

Postby blues power » Thu Apr 20, 2006 11:51 am

Hey all

ive been using the Boss GE-7 for quite some time and im happy with it. now im looking to run a 2nd EQ pedal so I dont have to keep kneeling over to change settings when i change guitars.
Yes, i know, im lazy. The wife reminds me daily of it.

I have it narrwoed down to another GE-7 or the MXR 10 band and the Maxon 7 band.

anyone familar with those 2. Both are about $30-35 more than the boss so i dont know ifs it worth the extra dough.

Cheers

I have always seen the GE-7 as a staple to any rig. I think it sets the standard and has for awhile.

Maxon makes great stuff if you want to pay the extra money. I like the MXR line of pedals as well but have never tried the EQ. I heard that the Dano Fish & Chips EQ is a great box.

If it came down to it for me, I would just get another GE-7. If you are happy with it then why change it? They are also cheaper and you can find them used everywhere.
