T-Bone Walker

A place to post guitar tabs separately from other discussion so it doesn’t get lost in the messages. To make it easy to search we suggest starting a new thread for each song posted and include the song name in your title. We’ll be able to make a nice archive if we keep tab here and discussion on the other forums.

T-Bone Walker

Are there any sites with some of T-Bone Walker's solo licks?

don't know about a site though there is bound to be one. Try to get Duke Robillards educational video. He covers a lot of T-bone stuff

It's been awhile for this thread and the site is MIA. Anyone got another site that has T-Bone stuff on it?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Dec-12-05 AT 03:44 PM (EST)]T Bone is pretty much all 1st blues scale mostly in Bb. you really shouldnt need a tab for it as he plays slow enough to just copy it. you can use a phrase sampler if you need to. what i do is tune down a 1/2 step and play as if i were in A.

the good thing about TB is if you speed it up 3 times the speed youll hear SRVs signiture stuff all day long. :)

Check out http://www.powertabs.net

There's some T-bone tabs. The same tabber did some other blues artists too. Well worth looking at.

....not anymore. Due to the actions of the MPA, they've taken their tabs off the net. Sad.

That pisses me off.

Check out http://www.ultimate-guitar.com

They've taken over the entire listing from powertabs.net. They must've anticipated that powertabs would close down for fear of the mpa.

I'm thinking this whole mpa thing will blow over. Remember they tried to do the same with OLGA? Well... OLGA's still here, isn't it?

OLGA did effectively disappear, for years. There was a crippled version with old archives only, located on offshore servers.
