Baby Please don't go

A place to post guitar tabs separately from other discussion so it doesn’t get lost in the messages. To make it easy to search we suggest starting a new thread for each song posted and include the song name in your title. We’ll be able to make a nice archive if we keep tab here and discussion on the other forums.

I'm looking for the version done by Paul Butterfield off the better days album. Would like the slide guitar tab if anyone knows where to get it. Done some looking and not a whole lot of Mr. Butterfields music has be converted over to tab exspecialy the guitar parts.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Apr-01-06 AT 07:49 AM (EST)]Might be awhile before anyone starts to pass out taps again, what with all the "bitching" that went on the last time. ;)

What say you PETOU?

I have no problem with tabs as long as they are acredited to the proper rightfull taber so to say. I feel like the rest of this board that to take tabs from a book or some other place and post them as done by the person posting them is WRONG!

Even when credit is given, but without premission, there is a problem, big or small, but still a problem. x(

Many years ago I had 1/10 of 40% of a copyright. First couple of years it wasn't worth much, but then it "kicked-in", and WOW! Went great for 3 or 4 years, but then evened off and started to drop off.

One of my parterns found someone borrowing our work. He didn't say anything to the rest of us, and got a lawyer and sued the S.O.B.'s
All Royals were heldup, the Lawyer wanted his money, and in the end our copyright was void. Then those who had paid, wanted their money back and sued us.

Advice:

Copyrights aren't worth the paper they are written on, take the money and don't say anything...

Petou;
I said bitching, not Bitch. The word "bitching" means alot of complaining and alot of whineing.

No disresect towards you.

I agree partially with this guy
the thing about the blues
is that it's all the same stuff its the way you play it that matters
Lightnin' Hopkins and Aerosmith both did covers of
Baby Please Dont Go
and do you think their two and Muddy's version
were exactly the same?
it's the blues, what matters is the artists feel for the music
everyone's got their own feel

I believe the fight wasn't over cover versions, but someone posting tabs another person had written up with no credit given.
