I have a Tech 21 Trademark 10, which those Behringers are "modeled on".

My favourite setting for my Les Paul are:

Drive is very low, 7-9 o'clock (where 12 is the middle value, and 7 is the starting point), usually (lower for jazzier things). Jimi Hendrix 'Red House' sounds are to be had at 11 o'clock).
Brit
Clean
UK (or Flat)
Slight boost to bass and treble (1 o'clock on my amp), and I adjust the mids to taste (11->1 o'clock)

Reverb is almost off, as the reverb on mine is very, very "wet", and very quickly gets into to surf territory.

I use this for jazz and blues.

I have the little Behringer GM108 that I keep under my desk so I can practice off Tab on the computer. Being under the desk provides cool tone and I have messed w/ the settings and come up w/ some goodies however I neglected to write em down so the next time I get the sound I want I'll make a label to stick on the top for ref.
I usually play my Epi Special tuned to open G thru it and have come up w/ some wicked licks!
It's all a process!

Hey Mickey,

If at some point you get those settings written down, I would love to know what they are. I have one of those amps I use for traveling, and just to play around on sometimes. Thanks,
Chris

Give the settings I posted a whirl - the amps are essentially the same.

Adjust the action on that SG so the strings are close to the frets, way low. Get that amp set so the mids are pronounced, some dirty but so's it washes over the sweet tone of the guitar thus choking the note. Stand up and start makin' that guitar sing. Think back over your life and recall a love gone bad and tell the people about it using 5 notes. Yeah, finger that SG.

CAUTION!! when you start lowering action on the strings, you need to adjust your pickup clearence as well, back to the sweet spot!!

most places I play now are small venues, however ther is times I get into a large venue like ground zero, or hudsons commissary, any way I play dual amps. so for smaller areas I use 2 mg30 Marshalls, Larger venues I use 1 Classic 50 4/10 and 1 classic 50 2/12, And if I really feel like carring em I use 2 Marshall JCM 900s single cab 1960a on each head.
