I tried out a new VST/Soft-synth Plug-in tonight.

The Native Instruments Guitar Combo Collection

I really like these.
It has 3 amps,
VOX Ac-30
Marshall Plexi
Fender Tube

Lots of presets and totally tweakable settings.

I got the amplitude 2 and Jimi Hendrix package as well.
I didnt think it was possible to play a 100 watter in the house and not wake anyone but with headphones I can lay down tracks at 3 in the morning with someone sleeping in the next room. Aint technology great. Analogs better yeah but going digi gives you more opportunities
