Hey Rick, Buying it off Frank's Ebay listing. I think you can buy from him direct.
Just google Republic Guitars. There's a link for them there.
Yeh, Will post my opinion on it when it arrives, probably 3 weeks time.

"Like" isn't the word. I LUV my Republic Relic Biscuit. It reminds of the guitars of old I diddled on when I was a young'un. Great sound, great look..................let me rephrase.............It's a sound that makes you play and makes you wanna play, it groans and whines. It's no wimpy guitar, it's a blues machine..........and looks way too cool.

Well I have'nt had this baby out of my hands for the last couple of hours!
What a surprise when it turned up today! as I was'nt expecting it for 2-3 weeks!
As you Guys probably know, I'm a starter when it comes to Resos, so my
summing up will be basic.
On giving it the once over out of the Case, the overall build quality seems
good. The Body finish, I was impressed with. Nicely rounded off F-holes,
internally finished off fairly neat, neck to body joins a snug fit. Neck appears
straight as. Frets are finished off reasonably good, won't get overly critcal as its not a National. The engraving is basic, but adds a little something without being over the top. Overall, it's appears a real solid built guitar.
The Sound,.. S...!! This baby's LOUD!:D with "heaps" of volume, with
all the narly '30's growl & overtones. To my ear, it's got a lovely,
sweet, full tone. It gets better, it has miles of Sustain!, much more than I expected, one thing I was concerned about, as from what I've read, Single Cones don't have the Sustain of a Tricone. This has heaps.
Overall, I'm more than happy :D and can see my Regal spending alota time
in it's case. In my humble opinion, thumbs up for Republics! U gotta try one atleast  Can someone please post my pics :?:

After playing somemore this morning, Yeh I conclude, compared to my 14 fretter,
the 12 fretter will take some getting used to, though I really love the chunky,
wide neck ! Seems easier to slide on :D
