Postby 601blues » Sun Dec 09, 2007 5:39 pm

I have a hamer volcity 25,on board electronics, anyway I have a very annoying buzz, not when I fret and play the actual note its when I lift my finger off the string to change notes! as I lift it has a split second buzz, I have lifted my action some and it does not seem to help, any advice would be nice!

I reset everything, instead of raising the string action, I lowered the action, and surprize That took care of the problem!! However This Hammer havin on board preamp seems to hot for line in recording!! I can't get the string sound Iam looking for, I want deep but a sharp distink sting pop, Iam thinking a fender bass ????

I had the same problem and it turned out to be a loose tuner. A slight turn with a wrench and it went away.
