Back in the saddle

Postby oleman » Wed Oct 24, 2007 5:44 pm

After taking a sabbatical from the upright and gigging for about 3 mo's I'm back in the saddle with a new band and a much broader approach to music in general than just the blues. This new band plays some blues but also a lot of folk/country, old standards and Django style swing/jazz.
Gigs about once a week with no pressure and a great bunch of musicians that will certainly force me to improve my technique.

I sure will miss the old blues houseband gig but sometimes, change is good.
