Our 4 piece band will be playing Dec 7 in Evangelos on the plaza in Santa Fe.
Ron Wood, Keef, Clapton, John Hammond and other notables have stopped into this very funky place and sat in with who ever was playing.
We're stoked!! Not a big audience but one that is so musically sophisticated and hip; we feel somewhat apprehensive.

Hey man, that's cool!

Don't worry about having "musically sophisticated" listeners; they'll just appreciate what you're doing more than most, if your heart's in it. They understand. They've been there.

Q: do you have the thing in America where 4 people turn up, sit at the front of the stage and talk loudly, ignoring the artist on stage? There's a pattern here I saw repeated on Saturday. Perhaps it's some sort of Arts Council funded "performance" art thing?

Hope you have a fine old time, and if you get the talkers, turn it up to 11 and tell them Maxx told you to do it.

Maxx, we do have that happen frequently here in the US of A but we usually call them "drunks". I suppose it could be some kind of performance art, but my guess is that it is more akin to rudeness. And on the "11" thing, thanks Maxx.

And thanks for your support ricochet! I means a lot!

Wish I could be there. I'd hoot, holler and cheer. :D

(I'd probably get drunk, too.)

Sometimes I wonder if we really are that good or if we are just personable and lucky and our love of the music shows thru.

We got asked back. The owner called down another club owner and we got a gig in his place also. Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would ever enjoy even this kind of success.

I was perfectly happy sitting around with friends in my garage, having a few and playing the blues. Now my fantasies are beginning to run rampant.

Thanks all for your support and encouragemant!!!!!
