BigRoad Trivia- June 2006

Postby bosco » Thu Jun 01, 2006 3:56 pm

Welcome to the June Trivia thread. As always, thanks to the participants that made the May trivia a success.

Looks like Nizer is first up, even though he's still searching for a song.

Have fun and remember to think responsibly...

Here's a hint about the song - Horton plays a very well known passage from the jazz sax song "Flying Home" in it.

The song's title has a celestial theme.

wheww!

Born in the same state that Blues McGoo lives, this multi-instumentalist first recorded with Lightin' Hopkins under an alias. When he cut his first solo sides, the producer told him he had to change his handle since there was another blues artist already using it. He just switched the words around, modified them a bit, and came up with the name he is well-known as. What was that name, his first alias and his birth name?
