Hello!

Postby dan gunter » Tue Jul 16, 2002 3:08 am

What a great forum! I've been a fan of the blues since the late 1970s and have been hacking away at guitar since about 1983. I still can't play worth a damn, but that doesn't prevent me from occasionally making noise. I play pretty much solely in open D tuning. I want to sound like Elmore James and/or Hound Dog Taylor! I never will, but it's something to strive for, right?

I moderate an ezboard forum called "Chicago Blues." I'll post a link sometime.

Here's a link to the EZBoard BBS that I moderate.

It's a pretty quiet board, but all of the folks who stop by are very pleasant. I'm looking forward to this forum and the information that I can gain from it!

Hello
I took a quick look at your site and I'll return when I have more time. More places to explore and discuss the blues! Welcome to this one, though. It is fun here.
