Thanks guys, I'll be in touch.
I should think we have two or three months timeframe but it all depends on how long it takes everyone who wants to be involved to get something together. Don't worry, I'll wait for everyone that is interested in the project.

Well my little mousey fingers are hurting now because I have sent my mailing address to all the people on this thread who are interested in contributing a song to the album. If you are on the thread and I haven't replied to you then please let me know. Thanks everybody.

If anyone else would like to contribute a song to the album then please do add your name to the thread or e-mail me and I will send you my mailing address (snail mail) for you to send your tape/CD to.

Thanks,

As I have a broadband connection, and live in the UK, I could help Bluesmouse by accepting music files by e-mail, backing them up onto CD, and posting them on to him.

If you think this might help.

Cheers Kev,
But I don't think it'll be necessary to take up your offer.
A good number of the contributions so far have been on CD or tape, posted direct to Mousey and loaded onto my PC.
I'm still anxious to hear SRVL's method of doubling a regular CD jewel-case, as we're already certainly onto our 2nd disc.
About 10 more songs will make a fine 2CD set, so keep 'em coming guys.

Hi Blinds,
Well I've replied to you seperately but I'll repeat it here for everyone else.

I'd like to try and wrap things up as soon as we can now, it would be good if we could get all the remaining entries in during the next 3-4 weeks. A lot of people have contacted me saying that they are working on it but there are still a few interested BRBers that I haven't heard from. These guys are: Ricochet (unless you want us to use the answering machine song), Deltapunk, Jellyroll Baker, ChillyWilly, Kwill, Lonedawg, Hashtaff, Howlinwoof, Bojangles, Straightblues. I will contact you people individually just in case you don't see this thread.

Thanks again everybody for your contributions and if anyone else is interested in sending in a song and they have not expressed an interest already then please let me know as soon as you can.

Alternatively, we could simply fill up one CD and send those out.
Then we could start on the 2nd. This solves the 2CD jewel case thing and also allows time for those people who've not finished their recordings yet.
Just a thought.

That was the original idea and would solve the packaging dilema. Waiting to fill the second CD would just further delay the project.

Additionally, a Vol. II would give the procrastinators more time to tweak and finish their projects. (You know who you are...:D)

I haven't been into this forum in a while, what with work and all chewing up my time. I just came across this thread last night.

I'd be really interested in a copy of this CD, even though I don't have anything to contribute as yet. Would it be possible for me to arrange a copy for myself? Do you guys have a guy set up in Canada to do the copying, etc.?

Hi Triplane, no problem. Remind me nearer the time and I will make sure a CD gets to you. Do have a think about sending in a song if you can though- the more the merrier.

Stumblin- I think that's a good idea. As soon as we have one CD of music then we should mail that one out and work on the other one. How many minutes would make one CD?
