Shall we start voting for the second painting

Postby bruneau » Thu Apr 14, 2005 1:03 pm

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Apr-14-05 AT 09:35 AM (EST)]Hi All
Due to problems I was off line for couple of weeks but I'm back
and I think it's time to start the auction for a new painting.

For the new guys among us I have to explain some things so they can also have a go at the auction.
Here you can have a look at my work
http://bruneauart.blogspot.com/

First you have to know I'm a painter with little money, and I made a painting of "Son House" as a donnation to the forum. Through ebay
the forum held an auction. And the profits went to BRB (this forum).
The painting belongs now to a good member of this forum.

First I let everybody vote for a blues personality and that personality with the most votes I did a painting about.

But someone suggested that the person with the highest bid could decide wich bluesperson I was going to paint.
We all liked the idea, and so ...

I would say, start bidding.

Hi all,
I forgot to set a date when the bidding will end.
I suggest two weeks from now because there's still no bid.

The bidding will be closed

FRIDAY 29 OF APRIL AT MIDNIGHT.

I start the bidding at 1$

The one with the highest bid can name something for me to paint!

I don't need no names YET.
Btw Rico who's Steven LaVere ?

That was a joke. He's the fellow who until recently owned the rights to Robert Johnson's songs. He's been generally unpopular with members of the blues discussion boards.

Pitty that I was not a member at the first auction.

Hope I can participate at the next one. Are you showing the
painting before the auction??

Hi Blueslover
You can see the result of the painting of the first auction in "Announcements", topic
"Son House painting by Bruneau Auction"
And here some of my other work.
http://bruneauart.blogspot.com/

No I'm not showing the painting before the auction, cos the one with the winning bid decides what I'm going to paint.
