Harp54-

Welcome. Great to see another harper active in the harp forum. You should post an introduction in the "A Bit About Me Forum". This is a pretty tight knit group and advice is generally better received if they know you than if it just comes in from left field.

keep on harpin'...

Jam's are the best way to play live as a green horn if you don't know buddies who play in a garage or whatever, I think theres one golden rule for a harp player, especialy a new one.....less is best !, way too many players go way overboard and put too much into the song, thats a real good way if you don't want to be asked up much, or they will let you play one song, then introduce the next harp player. Just add some expression and resolution to the tune, don't worry, they'll let you know when it's solo time, by a nod or the lead guy will say..play that harp bud.
