Acoustic for me too, but both are really impressive in their own right. Congratulations, fella. :D Peace.

Hey Jake, Very nice guitar work!
But, you got way too much background noise there. I would fade that out as the guitar gets going.

You need a both button because I like them both for different reasons. Maybe you should combine the two. :D

@BB: on the electric or the acoustic version (or both)?

@Grenade: The thought has crossed my mind. I,m going to have some time on my hands in a few weeks. They share rhythm tracks, so technically, it could be done without recording anything new...but that would take the fun out of it!

But it would let you try electric lead over acoustic, then acoustic lead over electric to see what works best, then rerecord it. PM me when it's done.

I did a quick "clean up" of the acoustic version - faded back the swamp sounds and dialed back the reverb and delay so it doesn't sound like a drag racing commercial (Sunday1 Sunday! Sunday!).

I may tweet the electric version a little. There are actually two rhythm guitar tracks - one clean, one overdriven. The idea of "Mixing and matching" seems like fun. I won't have the time for a week or two though. Thanks for the feedback. It's great to have everyone's input.

I really need to step away from projects before I try to mix them. Ear fatigue is a real problem.

I think the electric version cleaned up well, too.

Again, thanks for the feedback.
