Tricone Porn

Hey all,

For those of us hopelessly devoted to the glory that is the Tricone... how about some "Tricone porn?" Please kindly post your pics of your favorite and/or most amazing looking Tricone so I can spend my lunch hour drooling...

I've seen some amazing trike's with distressed finished, amazing paint jobs, multiple colors of metal in body and cover plate, etc.... any favorites?

I have two pretty ordinary Nationals, a vintage steel and a black baritone. This one is the vintage steel with a lace pickup.

I've had 2. A National and a Republic. Just never bonded with either of them. I like a single cone so much more for my style. The one in this photo was my last one...

Gorgeous variation, especially on the back. Stunning, actually.

Very nice, Jake. I've always played COIMK in G - mostly up at 10 to 12, but you seem to be in D. I noodled around with that last night and it works very nicely - the main riff was pretty easy but I would need to work on some of the embellishment. Do you happen to know of any tab for it in open D or did you just figure it all out for yourself?

Thanks. I kinda threw it together myself. The change to B flat in the fourth bar came from a version by Delaney and Bonnie w/Duane. I only started playing in open tunings about 2 years ago. I'm not very good w/tab but I can probably reverse engineer it if there's a portion you're interested in.
