Re-recorded/remixed

As usual, I can't leave stuff alone. Here's yet another version of a swampy blues instrumental project I started. couple of weeks back: http://soundcloud.com/mean_old_fireman/bogged-down-4

that turned out great, Jake! ..quite the production idea! I liked the "pedal steel" licks here & there.
I got my work day started with it this AM, which is good, 'cuz Tuesdays are my jam day & I'm usually psyched all day. :D

Feels like I'm down south listening to that. Good job.

Thanks guys. it started with the groove. I happened to start playing along to it in open D. I added the bass line and then I thought :"man, this is swampy!" then the bayou sounds found thier way in there. I messed around with some gritty electric slide stuff, but it didn't fit. the conversation about finger picks and tricones got me wanting revisit this and the dobro and bottleneck tracks fell into place. The flat top guitar line came in and here it is. It's funny to listen to and realize it was recorded durring a snowstorm.
