I painted one of my babies.
'Reclining Resonator', oil and tempera on canvas, 90 x 85 cm. Hope you like it.

A beautiful rendering, Rene.Congratulations. Egg tempera requires great skill and truckloads of patience too. It's really uplifting when you see, either in your own or in someones else's work, the desire to celebrate something you/they love expressed in another medium. Again, I congratulate you, Rene. Only it might be just my imagination but do you think the top e string is tuned a little sharp... .... just joshin' ya.... :D Peace

Thanks, Michael and Ricbleu!

I am a professional portrait painter and landscape painter. Music has always been my second passion. Painting and music meet each other in this painting. It’s just a contemporary musical still life, of course with a subtle refering to the classic theme ‘reclining nude’.

Well, I checked the pitch and the top E string was a bit sharp indeed. I fixed it. There was also a noticeble buzz coming from the tail piece. I fixed that too. For now I hope it will stay buzz free and in tune for centuries :D

Very nice. I'm sure it's even better in person.

Wow, that's some really cool artwork.
I used to do airbrush and I know how difficult it is to make chrome actually look like chrome in a painting.
