Worn-in Busking Tele

I play the heck out of this lawsuit Tele and it was well worn when I got it

Its funny to watch when we play out that folks always ask about this guitar and ignore the $2000 Les Pauls some of the other guys use.

I always bring it busking too as its a tip getter even when just sitting out front in its beat up case
Never did like new guitars, new pickups or women without experience-but thats just me

Have you done anything special to set it up for slide? I just got a Tele and raised the action at the bridge a touch. Plays OK but I'm so used to flat fretboards and was thinking about shaping a new, flatter nut.

I just have a medium high action ( still not hard to fret ) and use 12-52 strings in open E
I use a Dunlop 202 pyrex, dunlop chrome thin slide or piece of copper tubing so my slides are pretty light.

Smells like smoke, likker, loose change, pork rinds and stripper sweat

( but not teen spirit)
