Willie Dixon's Pie In The Sky: who recorded it?

Postby Singemonkey » Wed Dec 21, 2011 2:57 pm

The only version I can find on youtube is by a band called Electric Willie, and I don't know what they based their version on. Did Willie, or anyone else in his day, ever record this song? It's not hard to find the lyrics - which are great. But I can find no evidence of the song being recorded in his lifetime.

The only "cover" that I know is the one by Willie Dixon himself in his album "Mighty Earthquake & Hurricane"

I hope this will be helpfull for you, and merry merry Xmas!!!
