Lots of good things happen when a bunch of harp lovers get together. Make a day fo it if you are in the area.

I'll be able to make the 3 afternoon clinics with my son before goin to work @ 7. That should help us get back on track.

so your son- does he play harp as well? that's really cool.
closest i've come to teaching has been sharing with peers locally or giving a kid a harp here and there.

He is interested in harps and does real well with tabs. At 18 he has been playing double bass in the orchastra since 5th grade. He know a much more music theory than I do.
We had a local HOOTS group meeting at the community college nearby for several years, and we were members.

It only take 1 or 2 small points or drills to make a large difference in your playing habits, thus your playing. I took 3 or 4 from teh clinics yesterday. They also hit on some 1st position highlights that could be very useful.

too true. adam gussow did a small clinic here 1 1/2 years ago and i was reminded that small amps have the best tone. he also spent some time showing his signature licks. but- i hesitate to carbon copy anyone. if i can incorporate some part of what i see/hear into my style someplace that's better.
