Country blues, guitar and mandolin

Postby un5trung » Thu Jan 20, 2011 6:28 pm

Hi -- I'm a fan of country blues, Son House, John Estes, Bill Broonzy, Yank Rachell, Fred McDowell, Bukka White, Sam Hopkins, and any number of Johnsons, etc. Play them on both guitar and mandolin, looking to branch out into slide guitar. Wife, dogs, no pickup truck. Cheers --

Welcome! Don't worry about the pickup truck— it's a hallmark of country, not country blues.
