found this little gem by my hero Robert pete williams ... re=related

Are there any other great blues tunes about "Nam or more up to date Iraq/Afgan war etc........I know it aint blues but Dylan's masters of war is a totally AMAZING tune even though its a very simple 3 chord tune its still an amazing tune imo -


anyone else care to add there view........

And if we're really going retro here, Geeshie Wiley sings about her dad in the "German War", World War I, in Last Kind Words
Its not entirely about the war itself, but is one of the most haunting songs I've heard.
