A bluesy g'day from Australia

Postby SDKaos » Fri Oct 01, 2010 2:20 am

SDKaos (not my real name)here direct from Sydney. An American expat and long-term resident down under looking for info and suggestions for blues music (west side, swamp, most anything post-War). Current favourites include T-Bone Walker, Lightnin' Hopkins, Otis Rush and, more contemporary, Tab Benoit, Mike Morgan and Guitar Junior. Local Aussie bands worth noting at the Mighty Reapers and Chasin' the Train. Well, that's it for now. If you want anything more, just holler. Cheers -- SDK

Welcome SDK. Are you heading down to Batemans Bay for the Great Southern Blues and Rockabilly festival this weekend (Oct 1-3) or Windsor way for the Sydney Blues Festival Oct 29 -31 ?

Might see you there!
