I've been gone just for the weekend, and I'm behind in the times. My buddy/girlfriend's brother (yeah I know let the jokes fly about dating my buddy's sister) got married this weekend. My girlfriend caught the buquet and I caught the garter, eek! Haha.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Jul-11-04 AT 11:12 PM (EST)]Looks like LBB might not be hanging around with us for much longer. Less somethings got wrong with young ladies since I went long in the tooth, we won't be near as appealing as the competition.

edit: It seems like it was when I was at about that stage of a relationship when I sold my nearly new electric guitar and gave up coon hunting. Now, nearly 25 years later, the same little sweetie bought me a new coon light for Christmas and reminds me not to miss my dobro lessons.

(I just took my daughters to town for a movie. Looking at the prices of everything, I'm sure glad I'm long married--I couldn't afford to be dating!)

Oh, there's nothing wrong with the young ladies (or gents), but sadly, the young ladies aren't always around, and one can't always find a good picture of the Corrs.

One merely has to be a cheap date and pursue another cheap date, and everything works out nicely.

I think we've been over this ground a few times before, but:

Like I said before, one of them looks like a bloke to me...

the older you get, the more younger women there are... ;)

I know, I've been with one for the last 4 years and we just had a baby (Alex, born 6/30/2004):) :) :)

Oh, yeah!

As for those Corrs (whom I don't recall seeing or hearing of previously), 3/4 of them look very nice indeed! Can't recall much about the other one...

Rico, this was what Stumblin' was referring to:

http://www.bigroadblues.com/dcforum/DCForumID3/434.html

Apparently I'm not allowed to think that each of the four Corrs is cuter than a certain icky tennis player, despite one of the Corrs being (gasp!) a 'bloke'.

"Cute" and "bloke" just don't go together in my mind, but I sure don't mind looking at the left 3/4 of the above pic.

as someone here said "a woman is as old as she feels, a man is as old as the woman he feels".

I feel an energetic 22, rather than my decrepit 23 years. er, wait a minute...

congratulations :)

Rico, I'm not saying I find buddy-Corr attractive, just more so than Anna Kournikova , that's all, which in my book, isn't that hard. In fact, I'd rank you on par with her in the looks department, so you can find that frightening or flattering at your discretion ;) (that smiley doesn't do lechery justice).

I'm not exactly sure where this is going, and I'm not real sure I want to.

Well the woman are quite pretty, but the guys not to my liking. Seems a bit gayish looking to my eye. Not that that's bad mind you, just not attractive to me. And no, I'm not gay.

Uh, Rusty, are ya saying you think Ric's cuter than Anna Kournikova?? I mean he's a goodlooking guy, but Anna's supposed to be quite the dish. Anyway, it's all good.

"I'm not exactly sure where this is going, and I'm not real sure I want to."
Well, you can never know until you've tried.
Or, to put it another way: "Suck it and see!"
I can't believe I said that.
Sorry guys, just kidding ;)

I knew something like this was going to happen, I could just tell. It was building and there just weren't no place to get out of its way, but I knew it was going to happen.

Just goes to the show, don't it?
