747's used to be planes back when Baddfing had folicles on his noggin.

Gig bags make me nervy though ,looks like they should be toting seismographic gear,or some Vegas dealers weekend wardrobe,or the Gimp's collection of Ann Summer's latex lube for Tupperware freaks....or or summat.

I usually get a big suprise when a gtr comes out...

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Jul-08-03 AT 07:07 PM (EST)]"Gig bags make me nervy"

Don't they just! The only useful gig bag is one large enough to keep the rain off a hard case!

bf (Counted yours, lately, 'Dawg?)

PS: They are here: http://www.reunionblues.com/about.html And they seem to cost more than a decent case!

Always wondered what the SPAM companies thinks about the hijacking of their trademark. Is it free publicity or a slurring of their good name? Enquiring minds need to know.

And I always thought the argument that modern technology is "progress" was bogus. I guess Ricochet's link proves how wrong I can be.

(Q. Given that the concept of "progress" first emerged during the enlightenment period, and was associated with the very common assumption that we were evolving toward our manifest destiny of a utopian society; and given that very few people today accept the notion of a pending utopian society--though the U.S. still has a foriegn and domestic policy based on manifest destiny--how can we know what is progress and what is regress and what is merely misdirected change without a shared vision of our goal?)

Aye David,
"progress".... but there is no such thing a primitive people, only primitive conditions.

Also change cannot happen from the centre outwards, only from the edges in,and therein occurs the fun and the pain of an emerging society.

Lovat

Emerging inwards would be painful, I suppose...
