Rico, use pics for target practice. Of course you'd either need large pics or a small caliber.

Use those fingers man. From the sound I've developed using my fingers to pick/strum on acoustic, I won't even go back to playing with a pick. I think it sounds so much fuller when you fingerpick, and unless you've got leprosy, they won't fall into the sound hole while you're playing.

OR, there is this stuff called Gorrilla Snot that you can put on your fingers to keep your picks from sliding out. It's tacky, but non adhesive and won't stick to strings or finish.
