A Mardi Gras Punch Receipe - Enjoy

Postby The Saint » Mon Feb 23, 2009 12:56 pm

Soft Toe Ike’s Bass Drum Parade Elixir
(Based on the Original Algiers Mardi Gras Punch)

Ingredients:
1 gallon of Kenwood or Abita Springs Spring Water
1 small frozen lemonade concentrate
1/2 pint Hawaiian Punch Fruit Punch Liquid Concentrate
½ gallon Bolla Valapolacelli wine
1 liter Bacardi Brown 151 Rum
1/2 cup Cinzano Liqueur
2 Creole Virgins

Pour ½ gallon of water into a large mixing pot carefully as to minimally affect surface tension of water.
Carefully spoon the lemonade concentrate into the water and allow to dissolve (do not stir)
Drizzle the Hawaiian Punch concentrate over the Frozen Lemonade mix.
Add Cinzano Liqueur at this time again (do not stir)
Allow liquid to seep 10 minutes. (Go Smoke One)
Add Rum slowly again taking care to minimally affect surface tension of mixture.
Allow to cool in icebox for 30 minutes while reciting sacred mantras, meditating, shooting dice or just bullshitting. Remove all firearms and sharp pointed objects from room prior to this step.
Have 1 Creole Virgin slowly pour the Valapolacelli wine into the mixture while the second Creole Virgin stirs the mixture slow (or as Emeril says “folds the mixture together”) until well blended.
Place mixture in icebox.
Sacrifice the 2 Creole Virgins.

Ha! I thought for sure there'd be a quart of mushroom juice in there somewhere!

I personally think this is a wind up. If Creole Virgins are the same as our local virgins, the entire recipe is a myth

Come on now. Do you mean there is no such thing as "Extra Virgin Oilive Oil" or Santa Clause?

The only virgins around this area are ugly third graders. All of the pretty ones are pregnant, or on the pill, and besides that , they are good Christian girls and don' t go anywhere near alcohol.
