Yeah, although gasoline is not quite as flammable as white lightnin'. :)

I've been trying to find this - unsuccessfully, but I KNOW I had read that there's a state law (not sure of the state) that made it illegal to fire a shotgun while having sex. (Wha???)

I'd love to know the origins of some of these laws.

It reminds me of when we were kids and we substituted what we were told was Strychnine for LSD. Brilliant!

Koff,
I read an interview with Donovan last week where he credits hissel with starting punk rock and celtic music...these Gypsy Scots eh  ( gypsies..as in people who has chosen a life on the streets as a meaningful alternative to the constriction of a fixed abode in line with their cultural, racial and linguistic heritage and life choice )

Anyhoo,
he says that smoking banana skins in the 60's was not down to his tune " Mellow Yellow".

Btw , banana's are a herb.

adios,

I read once that you can make LSD from banana peels.

And I also read once (since stupid laws were listed above I'm gonna share this) that it is illegal to detonate a nuclear weapon within the city limits of Los Angeles. If you do, you are subject to a $500 fine.

And in Kentucky, it is legal to beat your wife once every month.

Not sure if I believe either of them, they both seem a bit outrageous.

I'll add another stupid law to the conversation, in Minnesota, it's illegal to sleep naked...at least, it was at some point in time...I don't know if it's still a law.

I'm from Kentucky also and I believe that law states that "it is only legal to beat your wife once a month if your wife is also your cousin".......of course I guess that covers most of Kentucky :P I just figured I'd say it before anyone else had the chance!
