Problems, how to get them, favorite songs to play, groupies, funky bar owners, etc. NO names of clubs, please.

Still not 100% over my recent illness, but went to an Audition this morning for a Restaurant-brewpub in Walnut Creek.

Aced it. Pays nice, too.

(Actually, the pay would be crappy if I were a 4 piece band - but I'm not. )

These bookings won't kick in until May - but I'm glad to have 'em after inactivity.

Congrats Lummo!

Glad you're well on the road to recovery. It'll be good to get back in the swing of things.

Good luck!

Good on ya' Lummo.

I'm feeling much better after two weeks of cold/flu/bronchitis. Just in time too, as we have this Fri & Sat and next Tues gigs booked.

Back in the saddle again.

Yea, 6, for the past several years I've mainly been playing the solo Slide Guitar thing. I've played in a few bands and combos over the years, and I always seem to wind up back at the Crossroads, looking at that single shadow, if you know what I mean.

That's my last band - the "Dan Lange Band". We played venues around the Bay Area for a while.

I took a couple of months off from performing - the plan was to hit it again, hard, at the beginning of March, but a surprise illness - an outbreak of Shingles on my face - sidelined me until today's audition.

Mainly, I've been playing Farmers Markets, Tourist Venues in Northbeach, and Busking.

Before we moved back to the States, I was performing regularly at Pubs and Clubs around London, England.

I'm currently recording a CD, "Streetwise", a followup to my 2002 release, "Please and Thank You".

Painless, my first date at the Pyramid Brewery in Walnut Creek will be on May 11, from 7 pm. I'll keep it on the QT if I run into your Bro.

Between now and then, I have a few Market dates and shows at small bars in the East Bay - and, health and weather permitting, I'll be hitting the Avenue again by the end of this week. I've also got a new Demo, based on unmastered material for the new album, I'll be shopping around.

Thanks Allen for the input,Ive been at da crossroads myself, I perfer being alone, and thats how I started out ,then I recorded my our back up sound tracks, did that for a number of years, kept gettin more complicated, Then I went back to my roots, and found thats all I need to do. So Iam back to da basics. Thanks Allen for your Post!! I speak health to you.

Ouch! In mid shingles outbreak here, too. I feel for ya. My ribs feel like I been kicked by a mule. Been getting some good practice time in, though. Congrats on the gigs!

Lummo, I'm glad to hear you're getting back to doing what you do.
It must have been a real pain being out of circulation.
Enjoy yourself. Don't forget to let us all know when your new album is ready.
