What's up with that?

Problems, how to get them, favorite songs to play, groupies, funky bar owners, etc. NO names of clubs, please.

I have found it depends on the club. My regular sat night gig, averages 10-30 people, and the tip jar averages about $100. I have made up to $250, for my 2-45 minute sets. Then at another gig I regualarly have, there are about 50-100 people through the night, and I am lucky to get $30. I think the club culture has a lot to do with it. My sat night gig has been having live music for over 100 years, and the tip jar is kind of an institution, where in the other club, which has been open a few years, it is not.

I use to really push the tip jar in my younger days, but now have no interest in doing it. Sometimes a pretty woman goes around with it. That helps. Walter
