Blues is the secular version of spirituality often crossing over "into the light'.

I'm making habanero poppers tonight. If anyone needs to be prayed for its me!

Cheers ya'll, TB.

Yeah most people here don't get super tweaked too fast over the religion thing, thankfully. I don't see why asking for gear donations for a (legit) non-profit org is a big deal, nobody would have a sarcastic comment if he was doing a breast cancer benefit. Of course that may be one cause we can all unite on.

Thanks for all of the support that many of you have given. I guess I have to admit that I responded a little on the rough side. Sorry! I know that the ministry will get what it needs, but it will be in His time not ours. The only thing I can do is pray for those that don't believe weather they want me to or not becouse that is what we do for all.
I would rather die believing and find out that it wasn't than to die not believing and find out that it was true. In my heart it is true and that is all that matters to me. PEACE Ken

Hardly. Go ahead and make fun.

I thought Dan's comment was hilarious, and felt like saying so. If I objected to Pastor Harmonica's post, I would have nuked it - the forum is running on my server and I can be any sort of autocratic douchebag I want to be, but I really work at not doing that.

1. Free speech is very, very important.
2. There's nothing at all unreasonable about the original post's request.
3. Dan's comment is still hilarious.

PS: I'm very, very drunk right now (book club is rad) - I will edit this post for literacy/sensibility in the morning. If I've said anything particularly stupid, you should quote it before I expurgate anything I find embarrassing.

Rusty, yer a great administrator and real fine moderator as well! It's a great forum when you can say what's on your mind without idiot personal flames occurring. And I agree..it's very pleasurable to sit down to post with a bottle of Scotch. I jus' wish I could smoke a cigar while I'm at it.

I think all civilization has benefited by the fact that I don't post while full of Tequila anymore...

And Rusty? The first rule of Book Club is "never talk about Book Club".

I wasn't full of tequila. I was full of BEER and tequila! After last night I'm afraid that civilization is doomed to go the way of the white buffalo and the dinosaur.

Cheers, TB.

I'd forgotten that I'd posted in here Friday night. What a busy (but fun) weekend.

Oh. I'm quite the rebel then, as I tell everyone about it. It's fun. We meet on a Friday, after work, at a bar that offers us food and cheap martinis. Then we go bar hopping at 9ish. I think my liver would be in trouble if it were more frequent than monthly, though.

Quite. She Who Wishes To Be Obeyed would have mine out and in a frying pan if I went back to my thirsty days.
